The Red Bull Rubik’s Cube World Championship is a new, global competition designed to challenge the most accomplished Cube solvers.
Starting in January 2018, amateur and professional speedcubers from around the world, will face each other in regional qualifiers in more than 17 countries – battling for the chance to prove their skills and progress to the next stage, the Red Bull Rubik’s Cube World Championship Finals, in Boston, US, 2018.
The 2018 Red Bull Rubik’s Cube World Championship will introduce three new game modes – ‘Speedcubing’, ‘Fastest Hand’ and ‘Re-Scramble’, where participants face each other in a series of one vs. one knockout rounds, to find out who is the fastest Cube solver in a never-before-seen competition.
Additionally the events will feature a separate ’Female Speedcubing Track’, for the fastest female cube solvers.
Regional Qualifiers will start in January 2018. Registration for the first regional qualifier events will start in December 2017. Further details about Formats, Rules & Regulations will be announced with the registration, starting end of 2017.Press information, moving and still images
